It is straight to the point speech. SONA or State of the Nation Address wherein the President will discuss the present situation of the country. The Nutrition Month

The month of July is the so-called Nutrition Month. It is celebrated every year by the local government and by us, the students. The theme of the celebration changes every year. And this year’s theme is "Ugaliing Magtanim, Sapat na Nutrisyon Aanihin!”           The Philippines has lots of lands that can be planted by vegetables. And almost all schools have vacant land where they can plant vegetables and fruits. Planting vegetables is taught to students to help them understand the value of it. In the school grounds, they can plant eggplant, chili, pumpkin, and much more. They can also plant in old plastic bottles. If the children already know how to plant and they already know the benefits that they can get from it, they will take this knowledge to their homes. And there, they will plant for their families.           These vegetables are full of nutrients that will strengthen our body. Eating vegetables gives strength to our body so that we can work right and study

A letter for the President

July 09, 2018 PRESIDENT RODRIGO DUTERTE MalacaƱang  Palace Compound, J.P. Laurel Street, San Miguel, Manila, 1005 Philippines Dear Mr. President:                A blessed day to you! It is not usual for me to write to the president of the country, to you. I am a student, currently in Grade10 in Ilocos Sur National High School. This letter of mine is my way to express my opinion and to call your attention regarding our situation in our school because of the K-12.                Usually our school has a lot of enrollees but this year, it came to the point that our school needs to implement shifting of classes for the grade 9 and 10 students. It is because  of the large number of students who are enrolled here from grade 7 to grade 12. And I think the curriculum that the students need to learn compromised. Because they need to teach all the subjects in a limited time. The grade 10 students' schedule is until 6:45 P.M. and it is unusual for us not to b e in our house on that ti

The Philippines' Independence

The Philippines Independence Day is held every June 12th of the year. It was Emilio Aguinaldo who raised our flag and our national anthem was played for the first time on June 12, 1898 in Imus, Cavite as the sign of our freedom. And now is the 120th year since we were free from the foreign invaders. We Filpinos, celebrate Independence day every year because it is the day which we got our independence or freedom from our foreign invaders. To remind our youth how lucky they are for they have their freedom. Now a days, we can say what we want to say. We can do what we want to do. We can go where we want to go. These things are the things that our ancestors fought for. So as a millenial, I encourage my fellow youth to value our freedom. Do not abuse the freedom that we have. Do not use it to harm others and to make your love ones hurt.
