Coping with the Disasters and Calamities

“Problems are not the problem; coping is the problem.” If you think that the problem is the problem, you’re wrong, because the real problem is on how you cope with the problem. How you survive or manage a problem that may come into your life.
The Philippines is one of the top countries in the world at risk of climate-related disasters. This is why we Filipinos often experience different disasters and calamities. Just like hurricanes, flood and earthquakes, these are some examples of disasters and calamities that we Filipinos experience every year. Theses may cause damages to properties or even death to some people. And as a Filipino, one of our amazing abilities is resilience. No matter what damages those disasters or calamities bring us, we can still cope with it. We can stand on our own and continue our life like nothing happened. And some may start a new life.
No one knows when or where disasters or calamities will occur. It may happen whether we like it or not. So the only thing we can do is to prepare for it, so that the effect of these to us will be lessen.
