Celebrating the Science Club’s Month

Every September, the country is celebrating the National Science Club month with theme for this year “Wave front: Accentuating Potentials, Activating Technological Advancements”.  During this month there are lot of activities to enhance the knowledge and ability of the students specially those who incline with science and technology.   One of the activities is the National Science Clubs Summit, a one and a half days gathering of the high school science club, conducted simultaneously in different regions. The event is an opportunity for the different science clubs to learn from lectures, workshops, and plenary session.  There is also an activity for the science teachers.  They call it “I Teach Science Seminar”, where in it is a two-day activity catering to science teachers of affiliated schools. It is an enrichment seminar enclosed with a lecture, workshop, and discussion for teaching featuring ways on how they can make science teaching fun and interactive.
So in this month, the aspiring Filipino students who want to be a scientist can improve and show their abilities and they can learn more from the activities of this month. And the teachers can get and improve their way of teaching and ideas on how to make Science a lovable and interesting subject
