The Soul of Christmas

Christmas is the birth of our savior Jesus Christ. Jesus was born to redeem our sins, to save us sinners from the fire of purgatory. This yuletide season is not only for the celebration. It is not just for giving and receiving gifts. Let us think for the true essence of this season.
Christmas is for loving, loving your family, loving your friends, loving your neighbor, loving your enemy and loving your self as Christ loves us.
Christmas is a time of forgiving, forgiving those who hurt you and asking someone to forgive you for all the things that you did or said.
Christmas is a time of giving. Let us practice the deeds of giving. Give someone what they need. As they say, always share your blessings because it will return more than what you give. Always remember that what you have is a blessing from God. For God loves the world He gave us His only son. If God can give His only son to redeem our sins and later on died on a cross. It is a little thing for us to give and share what we have in this world to others and to the church.

  1. I agree. Share your blessings because God gave it to you for you to share it.
