117th High School Day Celebration


     Ilocos Sur National High School was established last 1902. Last March 02 the whole school administrators, teachers and students celebrate its 117th Foundation Day.


     The event for that day started with a parade at around 8:30 in the morning. This was participated by all the students, teachers and administrators. And in the afternoon, every grade level participated in a field demo that was been held at school ground. The boys performed first followed by the girls. The grade 10 girls danced a retro hip-hop genre while the grade 10 boys performed hip-hop. The grade 8 girls and grade 8 boys won the contest.

SONA 2018

                Last July 23, 2018, at 4 o’clock p.m., when President Rodrigo Roa Duterte delivered his third SONA. The speech which lasted for about 48 minutes was so far his shortest speech. It is straight to the point speech. SONA or State of the Nation Address wherein the President will discuss the present situation of the country. He will discuss what program did he accomplished for the betterment of his countrymen.                 The SONA of President Duterter started with a greeting to the entire guest who attended the affair at the Batasang Pambansa. July 09, 2018 PRESIDENT RODRIGO DUTERTE Malacañang  Palace Compound, J.P. Laurel Street, San Miguel, Manila, 1005 Philippines Dear Mr. President:                A blessed day to you! It is not usual for me to write to the president of the country, to you. I am a student, currently in Grade10 in Ilocos Sur National High School. This letter of mine is my way to express my opinion and to call your attention regarding our situation in our school because of the K-12.                Usually our school has a lot of enrollees but this year, it came to the point that our school needs to implement shifting of classes for the grade 9 and 10 students.
