     Our future begin with our simple dreams. If someone had a dream it is her stepping stone to have a better future. No one will dream for something that will destroy her or something that will not make her life better. But still, we need to strive for that dream. No matter how hard it is to achieve such dream, we need to be strong and never give up. And that someday,2 you can achieve your dreams that will eventually be your future. No matter how many times you fail or how many people distract you and make you down, still have the courage to fight. Because there is no one who will make your dreams possible, it is you that will make it all come true. They are only an instrument or accessories for your success and you are the key.

     Ilocos Sur National High School was established last 1902. Last March 02 the whole school administrators, teachers and students celebrate its 117th Foundation Day.      The event for that day started with a parade at around 8:30 in the morning. This was participated by all the students, teachers and administrators. And in the afternoon, every grade level participated in a field demo that was been held at school ground. The boys performed first followed by the girls. The grade 10 girls danced a retro hip-hop genre while the grade 10 boys performed hip-hop. The grade 8 girls and grade 8 boys won the contest.

Kannawidan Festival is festive of Ilocos Sur that celebrates its being a separate province from Ilocos Norte last February 02, 1818. In this year, it was held on January28 to February 17. The festival begins with a mass at St. Paul Cathedral on January 28 to show and express how thankful the Ilocanos are for all the blessings from God. Kannawidan Festival tackles all aspect from the talent of children to adults, during the festival every town are required to display their product in their own booth. The Department of Education is also required to participate as they have their own day in the festival week. They have a choir contest for the students and the teachers. During this festival, we can see the old and the new traditions of the Ilocanos. In the festival the provincial government recognizes the outstanding performances of the barangays and the schools. Sometimes we tend to change other people because we thought it would be for the better, but we didn’t realize that we don’t need to change them. It is our self that we need to change and let’s face it, it is hard to change but if we accept the fact that change starts with us ,it will be easy. It is hard to command the whole community to be clean and organize but if we start with our selves, others will follow. One community, or simply a family will be peaceful if every member is willing to change within their selves. I, myself could not be a good leader if change will not start with me. If I want my members to follow and listen to me. I should also learn to listen to their ideas. So we could come up with a beautiful outcome. Sometimes, we see the mistakes of others and we criticize them if we think that what they are doing is bad. But what we don’t realize is that, we, who criticize them are worse than them.

The year 2019 has just started a few days back. A new year to look forward to. Look forward to the things that this new year may bring. And a throwback of last year. So I can see the things that I should and I need to do and change for this year to be a better person. It is a new year and it should be a new me. For the past year it is hard for me to manage my time. I love to do things a day before the dead line. But in this year it should be a new me. I will try to give time in every single thing. Last year I saved money just to buy books, but this year, I should save my money for my future. For this year, I promise to myself that I should be more conscious about myself. I also want to be a strong woman who can fearlessly face the outside world because a few months later I will be in my senior high school. A new chapter of my life, a new people that will be part of me. And I should be more open to welcome new friends.

In the third grading period. Learning about the HTMLs and Web Design was a lot of fun at the same time it gave me a lot of work to make one. I learned how to link document to another and merging/combining many htmls to only one html links I realized the hard work of the people working with html's. I began to appreciate the html more. Memorizing the html tags and making them was one of the most challenging part of my third grading experience for me. There were a lot of unfamiliar tags that I encountered and this was the reason why I had difficult time in remembering its names and functions. But appreciation was the only answer. If only I appreciated it long after we started discussing it, I would have memorized them early. But making a web design was a lot of fun. I am blessed that I get to learn all of this now. I will definitely share my knowledge about these maybe not now, but surely in the future.
